Strix Virgata (mottled owl)
The Mottled owl (Strix Virgata) comes from Central and South America from Mexico to Brazil and Argentina. Their height can be 28-35 cm. They have a wingspan of 81-110 cm. and weigh 235-307 grams. The breeding season runs from April to October where they lay 1-4 eggs, which hatch in about 28 days time.
